Halloween Decor Upcycled From Household Items

It really is easy to create “new” Halloween decor for your home, using some simple household items you probably have sitting around right now. Grab some a few crafting supplies from Michaels {such as acrylic paint, Mod Podge, and Sharpie paint pens} and you’ll be ready for almost anything.

Our first example of Halloween decor upcycled from household items uses those glass jars that are so easy to acquire. Anything from an empty spice jar {as you see above} to a large pickle jar makes a great Halloween lantern. There are a number of ways to decorate your jar using acrylic paints, Mod Podge, or Sharpie paint pens. A small battery-operated tealight fits inside a large spice jar perfectly.
