I don’t have a hanging pot rack, but I wish I did. Thankfully, I’ve found that I don’t need a bunch of money to buy one–I can make one for less! Let me share with you what I’ve found so you can make one, too. Here are 6 super easy DIY hanging pot racks.
1. With some simple materials from Hardware World, you can build a hanging pot rack in an afternoon. Needed materials include the hardwood of your choice, less than two feet of 3/4″ copper pipe, and a length of chain in your desired length.
2. This is not a traditional sort of hanging pot rack. Since it is also a handy storage shelf, who cares? I think it looks great! The easy-to-find materials include vinyl gutter, conduit pipe, and either pine or oak boards.
3. One easy way to DIY a hanging pot rack is to use an old wooden ladder. That gives you the basic form. You only need to add hooks and a chain.
4. Here’s a creative take on a hanging pot rack. I love that it includes little nooks for plants plus some industrial pendant lighting.
5. Some repurposed leather luggage straps anchor a contemporary metal rod to the ceiling. This creates an easy DIY hanging pot rack to really admire.
6. If you have a farmhouse-style kitchen, you may really appreciate this antique yoke repurposed as a hanging pot rack. It just goes to prove that with a little imagination, some interesting items can be repurposed as a hanging pot rack!
